A Beautiful Herefordshire Farm with Traditional Hereford Cattle and Orchard set amidst Herefordshire’s finest landscape.

Awnells Farm has been in the Powell family for over 90 years, throughout this time the highest standards of farming have maintained two prestigious blood lines of award winning Traditional Hereford cattle.

The (organic) orchard has been a continual supplier of apples for the locally produced cider and perry pear drink - one tree is believed to be over 300 years old.

The farmland, orchard and gardens are a haven for wildlife ensuring Awnells Farm functions to serve a wide biodiversity, produce quality beef and apple pear fruit. A complete balance of farming practice with wildlife and the community at its core.

The Awnells herd are native Traditional Hereford beef cattle born and bred at Awnells farm, where the Powell family have lived and farmed Herefords for over 100 years. It is a closed herd of pedigree award-winning grass-fed cattle raised on this 220 acre family farm.

The boxes are family size and the beef cuts range from joints, ribs, steaks, mince and diced beef.

Awnells Farm has open days in June and forms a major centre of activity in the Marcle Ridge Big Apple Weekend, which will be on 11 & 12 October 2025.

The October Big Apple weekend has a festival air, with attractions and entertainment for all the family. Guided farm walks enable visitors to wander with the cattle, walk through the orchard and enjoy some of Herfordshires finest countryside
